Those springs should be compatible with your stock suspension. If you want aftermarket shocks, look into KYB they make shocks for the altima coupe.

Honestly I've had a lot of A/C friends that ran aftermarket springs with stock shock/struts and the car ran fine. I even had that combo for a while when I first started modding. It's really up to you if you want to spend the extra cash for aftermarket shocks/struts. But just so you know, BOTH combos will work.

Here's links to the parts other members bought: (I can't really recommend these because I never bought it but they got good reviews)

I recently ordered them directly from KYB for around $55 including the shock mount kit. Advance Auto has lots of specials and online discounts that can get them to the same price.

Keep in the mind the KYB dampers are only OE replacements, and not truly designed to be mated to lowering springs. Nonetheless, test out the combo and report back how they're working for you. :yesnod

Most aftermarket lowering springs will work with stock suspensions. However you can shorten the life of your stock shocks/struts by lowering them. If your suspension is already worn, you will have an even bumpier ride when you lower and cut the travel distance of the suspension.
