I just installed the RacingLine short throw shift kit. WOW this thing is amazing. If you don't have it, it's a must. Anyway...

I am contemplating getting a shift knob but I would like some opinions. I really like the Razo RA96 but I feel like everyone and their mother has that one. Here are my thoughts:

1. I would like a counter-weighted knob or something heavy.2. Silver and/or Black only. I want this to look as stock and clean as possible.3. Not the "ball" style. Something that fits in your hand.4. It must retain the reverse lock-out feature

Here is a quick site I made to compare some I have recently found that I like.http://www.matthewboston.com/MyCar/shift_knobs.htm

I only have the weight of the Razo shift know but I have emailed Momo to ask them about the rest. I will update the site as people give me suggestions or as I find out more info.

I agree the ra96 is a little to racer ricerish... I'm also looking for a clean simple looking shifter. Keep this thread updated with whatever you find!

I'm liking that momo cobra...

I added another to the list on the website. It's the TWM Type-R in flat black. It's a whopping 440 grams.

Check the OP for the link.

The TWM Type R knob is indeed really nice but it won't work with our reverse lock.

Oh, I was hoping that was a chick....but hey, we're happy with the RAZO 96....seriously...it blends with the interior...its heavy and Mehdi says so.

Dude I hate RICE...unless pork fried...mi dadio was pleased to see I didn't "go queer"....Its the best...RA96 period...enjoy
