Anyone with a Power FC and S15 injectors?

What settings do you have ? I don't know what to set because i'm not sure how big they are. What works for you?

You take the original (stock) injector size, and divide it by the new injector size (S15 injectors are 480cc/min) and multiply the answer by 100, and you have a percent correction factor that you use in the injector setup menu. (370/480)*100=77.1% This should be what you use and it should run like stock! Jeez, I wish those instuctions were in english!!! :(

Thanks. But shoulden't you set delay/lag time or something like that also ?

The power Fc shows Injectors 1-6 ? Do you change them all? I was pretty sure I only had 4 :) (just installed the FC)

I just changed the four of them, but, i'm new to FC'ing as well. I have my dead time set at zero right now, but i've got MSD 72# injectors, which are slower to respond than the S15 injectors, so therefore they need less dead time. I messed around with it, setting it at like .6ms and it made my car drive like sh#t. I'm not sure how to calculate what dead time you need, but it's dependent on your injector size, and actually, i'm not sure how important dead time is anyway...

Thanks.. Or so :)

Played around some last night. But I can't get it to run good. It messitates on sudden acceleration and generly slow response.

Setting the injectors at 82% and drop the temporery fuel map to around 0.800 made it run better, but not perfect.

Feals like it's running lean. But I get very low exhaust temp, som I'm not sure. I will try to check the fuel pressure also.

I also got a maximum injector time at 94 % :/

Yeah, i'm getting a silly number for injector duty too. Guess it just goes back to not having english instructions!!! Maybe if i harass Apexi they'll email me a copy or tell me where i can get a english manual

Say, on a slightly thread-jacking note, do you have problems with the commander saving settings when you change them?? I'll go in and change the injector correction factor a percent or two, but when i turn the car off and back on, it doesn't save the settings! Do you have to manually save them somehow or is something messed up?

Hello!

I guess you have the english RX-7 manual atleast? It's avalible if you dont.

Yes. I haved trouble at first with not saving settings. But if you turn ignition on, change the settings and press back and then turn ignition off, the changes stays.

I played with it last night. I sat the injectors to 0.75. And then I used the "temp" settings for fuel at 0.845 . After that the car run much better. No hessitation. Probably a little ritch still. Coz I only get 800 C exhaust temp and O2 sensor shows 0.90 Volt.

But thoose settings should be for bigger injectors than my 480 I think.. Must check it out some more..

Awesome, there's an english instuction manual you can print off the Apexi website. It's for a civic/GS-R, but, should still help me out greatly.

Ehh. That manual is for installing the box only. Not very useful.

You can get the Rx7 manual from my homepage:
