Reason I ask is when I turn ign to power only when I push on gas pedal the RPM goes crazy!it goes from 0-4000RPM and I hear the coil buzz that connects to distributor. Then when I start engine is sounds bad very bad until I rest the battery. And when driving the engine just dies at random times and different days power stays on engine dies. I wait a couple of minutes then it starts again sometimes I rest battery and engine starts. Ive replaced fuel pump and ing coil and module, mass and TPS sensors. So what controls RPM or why would RPM be doing this when I turn just power on. Also sure this is connect to engine dying all the time as well.

I would start looking at cam and crank sensors, also you may check vacuum leaks,

Does the car throw engine codes? If so you may want to list them
