Hey guys,

I was looking over the block and transmission I got from a guy more closely today and realized other than the speed sensor, I am missing something else. I am unsure of what it is or can be.

Here is a pic of the area.

This trans is off a 95 s14.

The bottom is where the speed sensor goes, and there is a threaded opening above it. (dont mind the white paint, the guy who sold it to me I guess splattered some paint on it? geez...)

So what goes in there?

Thanks a lot,

Eric

could be a switch, like to tell the computer when it's in one gear, or REV even.

:edit: oh, look what I found in my FSM

So it looks like the Neutral Position Switch. Which if I'm right, means diddle poo.. Your car still wont start in neutral with the clutch out.

I don't think it's a big deal. Just plug it up.. lol

lol, guess it doesnt matter too much. I have a manual bottom harness, but my car was originally automatic so either way I dont need to depress the clutch to start the car anyways.

Thanks a lot guys helped me out a lot.

I posted it up in the kade forum and they didnt even bother until I brought it up in the ka-t side. haha

Thanks again,

Eric
