Hey guys,My SPEC Stage 3 clutch is supposed to come today or tomorrow and i was wondering what gaskets and seals I would need to do the following:-put oilpan back on-put trans and block together

Also, for those parts, what do I ask for if I go to Advance Auto Parts or PepBoys?

Thanks!-Ian

Look under the crossover sticky for good info on part numbers ect-im guessing youll need a new oil pan gasketbut i dont know about the trans and block stuff

ps. i wouldnt use that liquid gasket stuff...if it gets in your oil pan and in your motor it can really screw **** up

someone please correct me if im wrong

Actually Nissan recommends the goo in the factory manual. Refer to the Engine Mechanical section for the precise directions on how to do it.

As far as putting the transmission to the block, just bolt it up. No gaskets needed. Also, make sure you grease up the throw out bearing on the transmission shaft. Nothing worse than getting all back together and hearing a whining noise 2 months later when you put the clutch in because you forgot to lube the TOB.... damn Honda's.....

liquid gasket is the way to go...just spread it well with your finger, and make sure you do it like the fsm says! (bon the inside of the screw holes, not the outside:D)
