When I was running the stock turbo I notice a considerable difference in power when my timing was set at 20* as opposed to 15*. I'm currently running 19psi through a t3/to4e and have the base timing set at 15*. I was wondering if this was a little too conservative as the car seem to have a hard time coming off the line even with a 55 shot.

what motor?

are you tuning with something else? if so, leave the timing changes to the tuning device, not the CAS. you shouldn't need to change the base timing away from factory. if you are running an safc, i'd get something that can change timing.

19 psi on any RB motor is getting around to where you need to be careful and possibly start to pull some timing out of the stock map, not ADD 5 degrees advance. also depends on the gas you're using

It's a RB20. I've got a chipped ecu from Carl and I'm using emanage to adjust for the Q45 maf. It seems to go rich right when the wastegate opens, somewhere in the low 10s and then comes back slowly to low 11s. I had the ignition harness on the emanage but, it was causing random misses so I took it out. I've been thinking of going with a haltech when the 24 is finished.
