Yeah, I'm going to see if the wax holds longer after treating the car. I'll use some Gold Class tomorrow (ran out of time today). I was going to do multiple layers of Klasse sealant glaze with 24-hours in-between but I simply won't have enough time with all the thunderstorms that are going to be rolling through the next week or so. Gold class, after a base wash, didn't last more than a month before parts of the car were no longer beading.

Next weekend I will need to start on the wife's G35 sedan and will test it using Klasse all-in-one polish and a coat of Gold Class. Doubt there will be much of a difference but I have product taking up valuable garage space that needs to be used up :)

I don't use an activator, I use Z-2 only and the detail spray.
I think having to use anything before the Z-2 is :bs:
If I use anything before hand it's the ScatchX

That's good to know. I've read that the activator is not absolutely required, but highly recommended by Zaino to shorten the curing time. How long do you wait before wiping the Z2 off when not using activator?

depends on the temp and humidity. If the humidity is down and you put it on VERY THIN like you are supposed to, you can start taking off as soon as you have completed the car. You are supposed to test a spot with your finger. If you wipe it with your finger and it looks clean, you are good to go. If it looks smeared, then wait. At least that's what I was told.
