they went back to an interference engine 3.3 L instead of the non-interfereence engines 3.0 L of the previous mercury villagers

so timing belt replacement is a MUST at the posted intervals or risk bending your valves when the belt snaps

I drive a 07 Quest i voted Dependability / Quality

Before my van turned 2yrs old. The stereo head unit had to be replaced, had fabric magically shrink on the back bench that had to be fixed. No one hardly sits back there. Back in December the passenger window motor suddenly failed. It turned 3yrs old the start of Jan.

I didn't expect to have those issues with a pretty new car.

expensive ''dealer only'' parts I hate calling the local parts store and they dont have a listing .... that means another expesive trip to the dealer
