Here is a picture of my rocker arms. For some reason they are sitting skewed on the valves. Is thois normal. Note: This head was supposly rebuilt and looks pretty clean. Also the rocker arms lift up about 1/2 cm off the valves. PLEASE HELP i'm worried

It was the rocker arm follower brackets. Whoever rebuilt the head torque them down too hard. I swapped out mine from another head I have.; I torque them down in two stages, 15 ft pounds and 30 ft pounds. Everything looks great and nothing wiggles.

really, I do appreciate when someone follows up w/ their experiences... so I can learn something new.

give an extra kick to the balls on the person who over-torqued those bolts!
