What's With "Consumer Reports" Ratings On '07 Versa?

I picked up Consumer Reports 2010 Buying Guide yesterday and flipped to their "Auto Reliability" section. For the 2007 Versa they rated the fuel system "Worse Than Average." Anybody know what that's all about? I have an '07 Hatchback with extremely low mileage and haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood) so I'm wondering if any '07 owners with average or high mileage have had fuel system problems?

They also have the '07 Versa sedan listed in their "Vehicles To Avoid" section (I'm assuming (hoping) that doesn't include the hatchback). I wonder what gives with that?

Thanks in advance.

This is a total crapshoot, but I'm willing to bet it has to do with the fuel pump issue, which bugged quite a few Nissan cars, usually the older Sentras (my '06 1.8L has this issue). Basically after driving around and turning off the car, when you come back after a few minutes and start the car, it will not start right up. You'll have to crank it a few more seconds, or better yet, turn the ignition to "ON" a couple odd times, to get some fuel into the engine.

I have no idea if that's the issue with earlier Versas, or if it is, why.

My 2007 HB (built in July 2006) had no problems in the 100k miles I drove it, and my son has had no problems with it since then. My daughter and I have 70k miles between us on our 2008 HB's, also without problems. I thought the fuel pump regulator problem began in the 2008's, but maybe it was late in the 2007 model year...

I only had a couple of times where my Versa wouldn't start right away. My dad actually noticed that it was taking too long for the key to turn. So I took it in and had the fuel pressure regulator replaced last summer under warranty. It's been perfect ever since.
