I don't think any normal/sane person doesn't care about children and their well-being, don't have to put up a cartoon pic on FB to show that. Donate money to organizations/foster a kid/mentoring, etc.

Whether that's true or not, that seems absurd. If kids accepted friend requests faster if they see a cartoon character, couldn't they just change their own pic into a cartoon character? Why does everyone else need to do it? One could also argue that pedophiles "love" kids so they don't want to see violence against them.
