The site is a ghost town... there is like no traffic even in General Chat.
I remember there used to be so many new posts that it was hard to keep up at times.

Where's the Love?

It's like modern day entertainment ... everything's already been done, originality is dead so there's nothing left to talk about. Or maybe everyone's just as broke as me? :gotme :chuckle:

I also noticed that the "edit" button is missing ocassionally from my own posts. Maybe this is all still a result of the great server transition? Hmmm.

I think all the threadworthy stuff got sucked into chat threads, and people do a lot of their BSing on Facebook now.

It doesn't have to be threadworthy to make a thread... Why, look at this one, for example...

I have lost interest in NICO.

I just pass by the gaming, electronics and sports sections.

I think the winter blues have struck.. NICO is for car enthusiasts, and half the country is inundated with snow and cold.. so there is a lot less going on with modding, racing, and other cool car-related stuff in people's lives. We're all just worried about getting to work/school and back and not getting stuck.

Despite the uninformed posts from some, traffic is actually pretty solid.

But, as Seth said, I'm sure that having 80% of the country dealing with crap weather puts a damper on a lot of car-related discussion. :)

BTW, it's 71 and sunny here - Gonna go for a drive, top down. BRB.

Everyone in the northeast has snow instead of electricity at the moment.

HEY

I do that when its 30. I refuse to wait for March, but it requires 10 layers and a dash of insanity.

To the OP, there are some who don't post anymore because they have lost their jobs and no longer have internet access. :frown:

I just got a page twice now that said "General error [mysqli] Got error 124 from storage engine [1030]" when I tried to post, then I hit the back button to get what I posted, and tried to post again, it told me "You cannot post so soon after you just posted" or similar text...

This has happened a few times this week already...
