What's up with my CAS?

My CAS is on the left. The timing dimples I highlighted in red because it might be hard to see. On the right is my buddy's spare CAS. His main CAS is the same way.

Why are my dimples wrong!?

I don't know why yours are like that, but it probably doesn't matter. As long as it lines up to the second one after sliding it in you should be good to go

Is yours out of a redtop or a s13/14/15 blacktop? What about his?

His may be from a blacktop. Mine is from a redtop. Does it matter though? I don't think so. Every write-up I've seen about setting mechanical time has the dots the way his are, as well as the S14 SR FSM. Something is fishy here.
