Hey friends!

Childhood dream + quarantine + mid-life crisis = Bought this '92 NA MT 2+0 bone stock z32. 120k miles.

The ultimate hope is to have my 3 year old love this car as much as I do and drive it periodically on dust-free, no-food-in-the-car, weekends in 2050.
So far I have planned/completed:
a. All fluid replacement (radiator, engine, trans, rear diff, power steering, brake, clutch, windshield wiper )
b. New-style fuel injector replacement + fuel line replacement
c. Spark plug replacement
d. Rear bumper/side mirror paint repair (before/after pics below. rattle cans ftw)
e. Timing belt replacement (cheaper options for this??)
f. Pop charger
g. Headers back (Smog check completed Sept 2020. Next one falls in at 30 years old in CA, no more smog checks) :chuckle:
h. Antenna delete / rear wiper delete
i. z32 TT OEM wing install
j. "black" window trim black vinyl wrap.

So I have two questions for the z32 collective genius:
1. What else should I do? (UDP? clutch? going for longevity first, speed second. but both are important, ja feel?)
2. What the heck is this thingy? and why did the previous owner have it unplugged? I'm assuming something to do with ABS but any (dis)advantages to leaving it like that? I'm more curious than anything.

Looks like the connector for the brake fluid level sensor. Plug it back in and see if the brake light comes on in the instrument cluster.

What ^^^ he said, brake fluid level sensor.

That paint looks good. Good list of maintenance items. If you want to save a few dollars, I've had good luck with gates TB180 kits and OEM WP and tensioner combo. Here are couple links:

Yep, fluid level sensor.

Prior owner probably didn't flush the fluid as often as recommended, which means the sliding sensor gets stuck (gummed up) and although there's fluid in the reservoir, the dash light was probably on.

Very common issue. Both of my C5 had this problem, and even with fresh fluid, those sensors will still act up.
