What's this plug in the driver's side cargo trim panel?

Anybody know what this plug is? It's inside the driver's side cargo room (trunk area) trim.



There's also supposed to be an audio amp relay, but I don't seem have it. I do have two other relays there, presumably for the power socket and the door mirror defogger relay. Since I removed the stock Bose amp I figured I may as well remove the useless relay, but there is no third relay. There is a taped-up plug at the bottom of a large harness, but I'll need to take a look at the wire colors to see whether it's harness B47.

What do you mean by "driver's side cargo trim"?

That smells like a CD changer.

In the trunk, the trim with the "vent" holes on the driver's side.

It's just an 8-pin DIN plug. Googling around, there were a few random discussions about this being involved with the rear DVD player or VCR that were options on the Pathy. A couple of other guys asked if they could get an adapter to plug their iPod into this. Nothing really concrete or conclusive in any of these discussions, though. And I didn't see anything on Crutchfield that would really work with this plug.
