Don't have a picture, but there's this orangish/brown stuff coating the inside of the exhaust tip. It's mostly on the bottom of it though. What could it be? Is it bad?

No. It's a brand new polished tip. It's not rust.

Liquid or powdery? It looks like it was liquid and ran through the exhaust tip and dried there.

it really sounds like rust, try to clean it off with something and see if it comes back, if it doesnt, then dont worry about it

By-products of combustion: CO2 + H2O (vapor)

The water vapor will condense in your long, cool exaust system. Unless the entire thing is stainless, it will rust a bit on the inside. When the water ran out the back, it carried the rust and deposited a bit there. You are correct, it isn't the tip, its from inside the tubing.

what about your exhaust is it stock? Custom exhaust or what do you have? Those "custom" exhaust from muffler shops tend to rust from the inside out b/c of the welds. Condensation will collect the rust and drain it our the only exit, the tip. Sounds like rust more than anything else. Possibly you got some really sick gas and your car has the runs.
