what's the size of a O2 sensor plug

I need a plug to plug the oxygen sensor bung ( i have a second one for my wideband o2 but not install yet.anyone know what size and what thread is it? is o2 sensor got one size onlyl? By the way, my car back fire alot, would that cause the O2 sensor operating failure

im going to get a nut for it this weekend to weld in my downpipe. ill let you know.

Daniel240, I asked around, they said it's M18x1.5. I am not so sure thou,but I will buy one and test it out. by the way, I suggest u should get those o2 exahust bung, I believe they take more heat than a regular nut , or Grade 8 nuts maybe those o2 bung only cost me $5.00 at local mufflar shop. good luck and thanx
