What's The Fastest You've Gotten Your EX

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Well guy's I thought we could use a fun little thread like this...

I've hit a speedometer indicated 140 mph (Hitting the speed limiter) in my EX

it was in 4th gear with plenty of revs to spare

I'm still in major need of the bullydog tune to remove the limiter

My guess is we could see about 160 in our EX but ill let you know when I get it.

Lets hear about your experiences with EX speed?

I think with stock ride height 160 might be a bit much.

While not a total brick the EX is not a lesson in aero effeicency.

I'm guessing it's hitting a brick wall around 150ish as more street cars do without a ton of extra power.

In order to avoid saying anything self-incriminating, ahem, I believe my EX may at one point have been driven by someone, who shall remain anonymous, at 130mph. Apparently, it feels very stable and well planted to the ground at such speeds. I wish I could take it to Germany.

It really is rock solid at high speed's.

Especially with my ultra high performance tires.

It even corners very well at such speeds.

First, I'm not encouraging high speed driving outside a controlled environment...

With that out of the way, here is a video of an ex35 doing 245km/h (~150mph? not sure if my conversion is correct):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...ated

Shift indicator most likely. Considering it blinks only at higher RPMs. Not something we have on North American automatics.
