It's a long story, but I have to sell this car. What's the market value?
It's 6 speed manual, everything's original and it's been garaged all these years.
Don't know the details such as mileage yet.
I only have one picture.
I'm just trying to get a ball park figure.
I appreciate if you guys can help me out.
Thanks!

Pretty vague description.
It has a 5 speed manual as the 6 speed wasn't available in a z car until 03.
86 is unique in between style. The car in the picture has black trim meaning it's either a turbo car, which would also mean 2 seater or someone painted the trim. A turbo car should have a "JN1CZ" vine code not an "JN1HZ". A turbo car is worth more than an n/a car. A 2 seater is worth more than a 2+2. An 84 AE is worth more than most later cars, and 88 SS is worth more than most earlier cars. the 87.5-89 turbo cars are the next most valuable to the AE and SS. The best cleanest lowest miles AE or SS is worth 10 maybe 12k. a run of the mill mid production turbo 2 seater in good shape with decent miles should be in the 3-4k range. look for other comparable cars online to help find a fair asking price and figure the sell price should be a bit lower than asking.

More pictures. 1986, 180,000 miles on it, 2 seater, non-turbo, 5-speed, front and passenger side door have been repainted, AC is cold and engine runs perfectly.
What's the fair price for this Z?
Thanks.

To the right buyer, 2500-2800...

To the average buyer, 1500-2000 since it's non-turbo...

yeha 86 n/a with a lot of miles isn't worth much, great condition adds something, but at the end of the day it's a high mile 86 n/a.
