Looking for the diff-initive answer to the burning question, will any Q45 differential (90-05) fit my 1994 given the doner car does not have active suspension or TCS???

By the way, great site and ya'll are very knowledgeable.

If you have TCS then you need a TCS differential which are not cheap or easy to find.

Also from 90 to mid 91 diff's will not work either as there is something a little different with them that has to be modified to work. To be on the safe side be sure it is from a 1992~1996 car and watch the TCS vs. non-TCS stuff. Better yet...buy one from one of the Q's being parted out in the classifieds or go to car-parts.com and you will find several available.

Slim was able to swap a complete Q45 rear and axles in his 300ZX non-turbo. The 300ZX axles are a little shorter, but might work in the Q.

Beter yet, maybe someone could try to swap the entire rear subframe from a 300ZX non-turbo.

Won't work. Been tried, it's too small.
