Hi Wes,

Hope you've been well. My 94 daily driver just dodged a bullet. We were looking at new cars knowing the 94 needed some brake work and it's looking a little tired. After a couple very high pressure new car sales sessions we have now decided to keep the ole gal.

It needs front rotors and pads, what is the current recommendation? I bought some higher performance slotted ones years ago and they have worked great with no warp age. Darn if I remember the brand.

Any recs? part numbers?

Thanks,
Peterofpaoli

Get the best slotted (NOT DRILLED) rotors you can and use OEM or higher brake pads, akebono etc..

Good to see you here Peter. I have been extremely happy with the Centric Premium rotors and Akebono ACT ceramic pads on my 96 daily driver Q and have been using this combo for the last several years and over 50,000 miles of use.Perfect combo for street use,no warping of the rotors {unlike the factory rotos which seemed to warp every 30,000 miles} and the pads are great, little dust generated, and they come with pre-installed shims,so you are not forced to be raped by Nissan with their extremely over priced "shim kit" which was $80 last time I checked! For the best price on both these pads and rotors,go to Amazon and input your model car and year and input the part you want, and it will pop up.If I recall, the front pads are around $50 a set and the rotors around $ 70 each?
