i have a s13 w/ black top sr20det

what do you guys think is the best setup for around 220whp to 250whp on stock T25 turbo

i wanna to build a strong reliable, daily drivable street car and sometimes for tracks.........

so far i haveblitz fmicblitz bovblitz downpipegreddy hot pipemr test pipeapexi n1 cat back exhaustwalbro fuel pumpkoyo radiatornismo thermostat

another question, would apexi afc neo and stock fuel injectors handle 220whp to 250whp?? or do i have to get the e-manage ??

need suggestions on what i need to do to make my little T25 pushing 220 to 250whp if that's possible!!

thanks

don't waste your money on an fmic, instead get a good smic like an ARC.

The nismo thermo will make your engine run cold, unless you're running something that will yield more control over engine temps, your daily will guzzle gas as it's trying to warm up the engine. Stick to oem unless you're using electric fans with a fan controller. The test pipe, don't waste your money on. They yield very little in terms of real power. Just another liability especially on a street driven car. Fines for something like that can cost more than an s13. Worth the risk? Probably not. The hot pipe is good, but where's a quality bov in this setup? Blitz's are notorious for leaking later. Get a real deal bov like an hks or sard. Where is the aftermarket wastegate actuator? The oem one leaks. Consider getting some rocker arm stoppers as well if you plan on tracking this thing. Don't forget something as basic as an air filter, ARC or Apexi ftw. Get a boost controller to turn up the boost a bit on your t25. I would suggest the Apexi AVC-R. Haven't had problems with the Profec B spec II although, I'm sure some folks will yell "oh noes!11" to that one due to it's tendancy to underboost a little, although it's hold is very consistent and ramps up smoothly with no spiking from my own experience.

The afc neo is a waste of money for you as well. get the afc II, it cuts out the garbage of the integrated vtec controller and will be cheaper and simpler to operate. No fancy colors though.

Off a t25, 220-250whp is gonna be rough. I'd suggest the t28 off an s15 spec R. Ball bearing, and can take you to ~300 without too much drama.

thanks for the helpful advice,

can i use safc2 w/ z32 maf, and stock fuel injector w/o tune my ecu??

my black top sr20 is running smooth with all the stuff i listed above, but i don't feel as much power as before!! meaning the car won't pull as hard as before.....it felt like someone's pulling you back, but the speed and rpm still goes up no problem.......

what went wrong?? is there anything i should check into??

please advice again.......thanks

yeah you can use a z32 mafs and stock injectors without a tune, although...why?

fmic's are large. It takes quite a bit of charge to fill one up, especially with a t25. Now where it will make a difference is with the way the pressure will drop across the fmic. As you drop the temperature on air, it will get denser, but will need less volume. you drop volume, something you've got in excess in your fmic, you'll feel it take longer to get "there" so to speak. It's a trade off for more cooling capacity.

nothing really, the principle of the intercooler is to take the charge air and reduce the temperature aka increasing density. Run a smaller turbo that will hit full boost sooner, but the trade off with that is the power numbers may not be what you're shooting for. Look for the t28 from the spec r.

You already get 210hp to the wheels on those....all you'd need is a little better turbo, like a ball bearing gt28 or something like that and a way to tune it all in, run a little more boost and a little more fuel and you'll be hauling *** in no time. Also, taking a little weight out of the drive line (i.e. lightened flywheel, aluminum drive shaft) helps alot too.

I have a genuine Garrett GT28RS .86ar. Dual Ball Bearing and all that noise. It's got 1k on it and I'm getting rid of it to go T3 with my KA-T beast. I'm asking a fair price for it, and the oil feed line with the oil restrictor. It's got 3/8" barbed banjo fittings for the coolant too if you'd want them. Drop me an e-mail if you're interested in it, djl601. [email protected]
