You know you said 210,200 THOUSAND MILES?

Whats wrong with OEM wheels...they were made for the car?

I sugest you find great tires (Michelin) and replace the injectors and enjoy the car.

But what kind of service history do you have?

Welcome to NICO.

Yes 210,200k miles as of today after driving there are 210,378k miles..and it runs greatno electrical problems, inspection till 2011...

OEM wheels are clean and great i even have a 5th OEM wheel in the trunk and a extra OEM spareall 5 tires are brand new front are Kenetica radial and back Generals.

service history..no accidents, dents or scratches...I have to take another look at the maintenance book from Infiniti...but the owner had everything change/ replaced on time...trans is great..never replaced..alternator is good...starter is good...I had those checked...need to take it to the mechanic for a look over...but so far everything is clean...took a look at the under carriage and everything is great...no rust...no leaks...all I want to do is HID's, Rims in dash nav/radio.even the interior is sooooo clean...no rips.... what more can I say

I will take pics of the engine tomorrow

Thanx for the welcome....hope i can make a meet next summer

I'm assuming your J is just the J30 and not the "t" model, right?

If your looking for "best ride" I would stick to a 15' or 16" alloy rim and get myself touring tires (they have the best ride quality). Best tire manufacturers to look at are Goodyear, Yokohama (the Avid series has a lot of fans among J owners over the years), Dunlops, Uniroyals and Michellins.

@ driverdriver....yea its a J30 no "t" and thats cool 15"-16" for respectable look...but round here we make jaws drop when we pull up...like S133P3R says so throwin some D's on this bi'ch is only right......my boy owns a rim shop out in vegas asked me what I want so 20"x 9.5 is what I want...but will it ride good..I dont want a rough ride...tires will be Yokohama...went to andys auto sport just to see how they will look

Anything above 16 inch's guarantees a firm and potentially rough ride.

Yep, 20s and "best ride" don't go together in the same sentence. lol

Btw, the stock J30t wheels not only look great imo but are forged alloy and only weigh like 14 lbs each. So, not only best ride but best performance too.

Ive got 17x7.5 G35 rims and they ride fine, wouldnt go any bigger thgan 17 tho, they'd be too big for the wheel house. And no jaws drop for 17 year old cars with 200k+ on 'em. Every now and again I get a compliment on her looking good for the age and miles but.... just dont go spending more on your rims and tires than your car. The stockies are best for max performance anyways. Congrats on the purchase. Welcome to Nico it is Nice.

WOW love the feed back..starting to like NICO.... I have a friend giving me his 19"s for $300 with tires....I won't put them on till after the winter anyway...my next upgrade is to replace the fuel injectors. I was looking at the Pioneer AVIC F90BT..but my Bose works great....(I just want the bluetooth to talk through the speaker....New Jersey is crazy about talking on the phone..tickets are like $250.....nothing else to replace.

Any suggestions (wow I was driving yesterday and my fuel needle just drops to E for no reason at all and I have half tank of gas...then 10 sec later it raises back up....did the same thing today....is this a sensor?)

p.s. how do I post pics with and not just a link?

I put 17 inches wheels from a G35 on my J30. I can't tell any difference in how it drives.

If you are asking for pics of the G35 wheels on my J, I did post them back when I first installed them, its was probably about a year ago. Here is the thread:

1. 210,200 miles is A LOT OF MILES2. Why would you mod a car with that amount of miles, and spend more money into it then it's worth??????

getting closer to 211k miles now...@ nalaldude no im now a spammer....I have a smoothing riding car that right now the mile mean nothing...I plan on taking this car to over 400k miles in the condition that its in.

@Paul Wall yeah i will make a few small mods.....it not like im putting the car on the track to race..just making it look good while it last... Yea I bought the car for $800 but its worth at least $2k im defiantly no scared to put some work into something i like no matter the miles

are you guys really scared of high milage...back in 2002 i bought a brand new civic did all the racing mods and i took that car to....379k miles by 2007.

Im not skeered of mileage

Just saving up a little each month for suspension and the inevitable transmission failure. If well maintained, the engine is bullet proof.
