Im looking to keep it emissions passable. I have headers that took the pre-cat out. I also have a greddy sp2 cat back on the way and i'd like to keep the exhaust flowing with a good high flow cat while keeping some backpressure.

So far RandomTechnology has the best to offer..??

Hard to say for sure. Probably a safe bet that cheaper cats will be shorter lived and need replacing sooner. I have removed the precats on my Q and still pass emissions with just high flow cats, and that's with a tuned V8, so I imagine you'll be able to make the Max pass without precats. That's assuming there's no meticulous underhood inspection, because many states won't pass if original emissions equipment has been tampered with.
