what's the average price for converting auto to stick?

i have a 240sx automatic and it isnt in the best of conditions. it is my first car and i wanted to fix it up a bit for some pride lol. im trying to make it a stick shift and trying to get a new paint job. any suggestions in the bay area? thanks.
