Hello! I am jumping over from the Versa forum to ask a question about my newly acquired 1987 300ZX...

My car is equipped with T-Tops, and mounted in front of the overhead spotlights is a small vented cover; when the ignition is turned on, I can hear what sounds like something spinning inside this cover. What the heck is this device? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

your car is clearly a digittal car, the digital HVAC used a little fan and sensor up there behind that cover, I think there is another one down low, this is how it decides where to put the heated or cooled air
