a Stock 87 300ZX-T (in like new condition), or an Aftermarket 87 300ZX-T??

my reason for asking is that I've found an 87 330ZX-T with 170k on it for $2500 is asking price... the reason I ask is the first thing I'll probably do it it is a rebuild (just cuz high-mileage... unless ya'll talk me outta it)... and well... I like the look of a stock z... but then again aftermarket is tempting... so I'm just curious to ya'lls opinion... please post...

Greatly Appreciated,Josh

To me: whichever one is faster.

Your post is lame. You give no information about what "aftermarket" means. Quit playing Gran Turismo or listening to stupid ricers. This is the real world.

Sexy is always a matter of personal preference. No two people are always going to agree with each other.

IMO: Keep the opinion and what-ifs to yourself and ask real, intelligent, technical questions.

Damn n00bi3s.

well IMO: I like opinions... that's more the reason I ask... and trust me... you know what "aftermarket" means.. no need for specifics because it could be a broad range of things... but in the mean-time, I appreciate the posts...

DING DING DING DING!!!!

We have a winner.

There are as many different degrees of "aftermarket" as there are degrees of intelligence. Your post makes you appear to be on the lower end of both.

Aftermarket could mean anything from a cupholder to a nose emblem to a CD player to custom paint to a complete one off body kit. Where do you draw the line?

Z33 nose emblem: Minor cosmetic difference.CD player: functional and nice and not obscene.Cup-holder: functional and kind of uglycustom paint: flames belong on muscle cars, not Z cars. One off body kit: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally find this disgusting, but the owner/builder is obviously very happy with it.

Once again. Your posts sucks because it is too vague. If you don't want any smart *** replies, you'll make a list of parameters. If you're having a difficult time understanding the reason for asking an intelligent question, may I suggest you just sit back and read a bunch of posts for a while.

Not a huge fan of the almost $4000 pricetag, though.

that's actually the first bodykit for the z31 that I like.. kinda weird... but the $4000 price tag drives me away...

as for the car, I've decided, make it stock, just make it fast as ****... I've debated on shaving the doors, but I don't know if there's a remote controlled door opener for the z31... also, what's the engine name for the z31?? is it the VGxx or... what... I dunno... and also, what is the max size turbo that the engine can handle? I'm a newbie so.. yeah... and please, try not to be d!ck... if you don't have something to say that's nice, don't say it at all... xD

Don't shave the door handles....looks silly IMO

The engine code is VG30e (non-turbo) or VG30et (turbo)

Max size of the turbo depends on what you're building it for and how hardcore you want to go. The depth of your wallet limits your performance ceiling, nothing else.

Door poppers are not vehicle specific. They would be two or four door versions, but none that will say they are designed to work with a specific vehicle.

You asked for an opinion. My opinion is the original question is a stupid question. If you don't want an opinion, don't ask for it.

yeah right! Jeeez how do you ever expect the Z31 to gain any popularity? Or gather a following? I'd say get it stock and do what you want. wheels exhaust boost controller and drive it. Then see what you want to do. Make it faster,Make it Look better, Or Sell it. Its all up to you!
