I have an rb25det powered s13. It has a PTE Entry Level 6069E Precision Turbocharger, hks bov, emusa wastegate with 8psi spring, and a mishimoto radiator. I have another video of the car running fine before the upgrades. I cant seem to figure out what is going on with the car. I have searched the web and have found zero results. I believe it has a misfire or the timing is off, but I cant tell for sure. Any help would be great.

wow Ok 1st question, is this a brand new swap and you have never driven the car before? or did this just happen after you changed turbo's and injectors?

I drove the car before the turbo upgrade and it drove fine other than the old turbo's seals were bad. This happened after the upgrade and it is still running stock boost and has stock injectors.

That sounds horrible. It definitely doesnt sound like the usual type of miss.. Pull your plugs, check compression and verify mechanical timing. That sounds like a mechanical problem, not an electrical-related problem. Just my .02.

I have not checked the codes on the ecu yet but I have already taken the plugs out. The plugs look normal but I will be doing s compression test soon. If that goes well then the next thing I'll try is looking for codes. I just don't see why mechanical timing would be off when I haven't tore into the motor before.

Sometimes the belt can jump teeth if it was installed too loose or the tensioner fails.

If its bent valves, thats just crap luck.. If theres cracked ring lands/blown out pistons, thats a little different..

Are you rebuilding or replacing? Replacing always seems cheaper initially..
