See I think it depends on the person. I have dated several friends and others that were not friends previously. I found that dating friends was not that bad. Even if the relationship did turn sour we did remain friends. Not awkward at all.

Well see that is what I have done. I havent spoken to her for weeks then all of a sudden she says "dionysios I miss you, you should stop by" and she proceeds to tell me her feelings. Its odd. I also hate the fact that girls I have previously dated coming back into my life trying to get with me after failed relationships.

How are you dooming things before giving them a chance? For shame. The opposite sex is for courting/procreation/romantic relationships etc. They're not "just friends" (when you have feelings). That's what you have your dudes for... they're your friends.

It's hard to find a girl in the DC area not after money, diamonds (also money) and a guy who owns his own house so they can just move in (money money).

Hey, that describes a lot more chicks, too. And what gets me is alot try to pretend they aren't and then BAM jump on the nearest dude with all that right in front of GOD and everyone.

I just wish people would actually be who they are and try to quit fooling themselves and others. It sure would make finding the right girl easier.

+1 It makes it harder for girls who aren't materialistic to be taken seriously. Guys who have been through the wringer start to automatically assume everyone is the same way. Of course girls do it too. So many guys are just out for a piece of a**, when you do find one who asks for something more, the warning flags start to go up.

I work in the pharmacuetical dept of an insurance company. There's only two people here. Me. And my boss. My first boss left a few months ago, and her replacement just sucks. Annoying. Irritating. Can't talk to her. When she does talk, she's just... ugh. STFU. My other boss was like my second mom.
