Ok.. Here's the deal. You know if you stick your car in 5th gear going 20 and try to accelerate you get a vibration? Well my car has a slight version of that no matter what gear/speed/RPM when I let off the gas completely, stops when I press the gas. More recently it has started having a feeling somewhat like that when I accelerate very much as well.. What could the problem be? Engine? Driveshaft/u-joint? Brakes? Tires? Suspension? Clutch? transmission? Something else? Please help.

uhm I really dont know... but if it stops when you let off the gas you can probably cut tires off of the suspects list... brakes too since it doesnt happen all the time. Actually I'd say you can pretty much cut out any suspension as the culprit since it actually stops...

focus on your transmission and engine I'd say... maybe you're running a little too lean or rich?

Well I do believe the O2 sensor is fudged.. Its running hella rich, almost chokes ya.. Could that be causing it? It's also got a very rough idle. I'm gonna check do the O2 diags in the FSM when I get off work in a few hours and find out if thats the problem. Is it worth 12 bucks more for a replacement O2 versus a universal? 22 - Universal, 34 - Replacement

mine shakes a little when idleing, ive determind it to be the motor and transmission mounts. Plus when the hood is up and i step on the gas while in neutral i can see the engine moving around a bunch so you should check that too.

Like I said any gear/speed/rpm... The O2 sensor is supposedly good. The engine has a tremble if you watch it idle under the hood, it randomly just kind jumps a bit. The exhaust if you can imagine.. sounds a bit like a tub draining.. kind of hollow and echo-y. I don't know.. Argh this is annoying.. Gonna run more diags today.

Well diagnostics say nothing wrong with the car, not even the o2 sensor.. My fuel pump has gotten kinda noisy ( i have no interior in the car at the moment so its easy to hear :).. This started up a bit after I installed my injen cold air intake.. Could it be low fuel pressure or something?

Well *supposedly* the shop checked all that stuff and did a cleaning on them (Like 50 bucks or some ridiculous ****) so that shouldn't be the problem...

This might be a dumb answer but it happened about the same to me just 2 days ago. I was about to loose my rear wheel driver side. Nasty vibration when I let off the gas and smooth like butter when I was on the gas.

When I finally found out what it was, the was about a inch of play in the wheel...

hmm. I dunno if thats vibration I'm feeling.. because mine it does it now when I let off the gas, when I accelerate hard, but it stops if i let off the clutch no matter the speed.. but ill check nonetheless
