Do you guys who are staying the night want to be closer to the Corvette Museum where we are meeting or closer to the main strip where there are restaurants, the mall, and possibly some cruisin going on? Or there's a third option...whatever is cheapest and still half-way decent.Closest to the Museum? On the strip? Or the Cheapest Hotel

I voted for cheapest since it's not that big there.

And I have already made a reservation for one of those spots, lol. I am too dirt poor to afford a darn hotel, jk, well not really lol!

I'm all for the Motel 6. Big fan of that place. It's decent, fairly cheap, and close to the strip.

I agree...I called them...$43.00 a night for two double beds. With tax and split between 4 people, that's under $15.00 for the night. Not bad at all. Gas money will cost more.

Also, it's on Scottsville Road (the main drag) and right off of I-65 so very easy to get there.

I have decided that I don’t want to drive down to BG and back home in one day like last time. 400 miles in one day is a little much. I know other people are driving way more that that but I don’t want to unless I have to, I tend to get a little sleepy at 1am :oface So if anyone has ideas about finding a place to crash or whatnot on friday or saturday let me know, email: [email protected] Id be willing to split room costs or whatever.

Thanks,

Whether the meet is on the 8th or 15th, I think the Motel 6 would be our best bet. Under $50 a room, so it's easy on the wallet, and it's near the mall and the majority of the restaurants.

As soon as the date becomes definite, I will have everyone e-mail me if they need a room, or you can all decide for yourselves which would save me a major headache. I'll provide the number and lead everyone who is staying there to the hotel...for that cheap, I might even stay myself.

Hey Chris, that sounds like a really good deal. I was trying to decide if I would like to go ahead and stay the night down there and for this price I think I will. If you are getting a headcount, then put me down for one. It will give me a chance to hang out longer!

Sounds good....just send me an e-mail so that I make sure I've got you down for staying the night...or just get with 3 other guys, or however many, and call them up.

Motel 6...(270) 843-0140

or e-mail me at [email protected] with who you're going to stay with once you've figured out a room.

Hmmm....I say I'll probably just get room there then at Motel 6 since I read its cheap and all. I need something affordable anyways.....I dont care to share room if someone wants to bunk with me or something. :)
