o2 sensor, maf, boost solenoid, etc. on the passenger side of the motor. i believe that bunch goes to the oem skyline fuse box. either way id tell them your not buying it until they give you a complete harness. itll save you time and headache I PROMISE

Would it not be worth it? I was going to pick it up for $2200, the guy is going to deliver it to my house even.

From searching around on here, It seems that I can get a complete harness from Venus for under $200. Maybe I have the guy take another $200 off the price?

I just checked that site, no motors, but they have 2 front clips. hm..

edit - I found them on eBay, I emailed them about a shipped price. Thanks for that link man, hopefully they can do the same price, for a complete motor.

Harness looks complete to me. From the pics, any wires that have been cut, you don't need...

What is cut though? I'm just kinda curious. If I don't need those wires, I'll probably pick this up, the guy told me $2000 for how it is.

Dont buy a motor set with a cut harness, no matter what the cut part may be, end of story.

I think I'm gonna call Venus tomorrow and see how much they can get a motor shipped out to me for. If it's less then $2200 there's no doubt I'll do that instead.

The cut plug is the one that plugs into the skyline chassis. Its like the gray and brown plug for the s13 chassis. Your gonna have to cut that plug off and rewire it anyways. As for the lower harness, your not gonna want to use the skyline one anyways. You'll use the factory s13/s14 lower harness and just swap the plugs that attach to the motor...

I dont mean to be harsh but please do alot of reading on the stickies so you dont get lost while wiring.

But that being said I do not see anything cut that will be a hard to fix. There are a few files on here that show you how to convert the S-chasis lower harness to work, so the cut fuse box/lower you have will not effect you. I cant remember what that 5+ wire cut section you are showing hanging by your turbo is off the top of my head but if someone doesnt answer Ill be sure to check.

Its really easy but if your at all not sure with what you are doing, have someone else like CARL H do your harness. Hes in the stickies.

Yeah I was planning on having someone do my harness, I feel 100% comfortable doing anything on a car minus harness splicing/rewiring. I've been reading all the threads I can find about the wiring to see if it's something I even want to attempt.

So, basically, is that motor esentially good to go?
