A friend offered me a 95' 240sx with 12, 000 original miles. The car was owned by her aunt and only driven to the grocery store. It's been sitting in a garage for the last 10 years and looks brand new. It's red with black (leather or vinyl) auto. What is it worth? Thank in advance.

It's not worth a penny more than $2000 but I'm feeling generous tonight so I'll give you $2100!

Seriously? It's really depends on where you are located. In SoCal it would probably be worth 7-9 grand but if you live in the sticks of Minnesota or somewhere like that, you'd be lucky to get the Blue Book value. I'm sure others will chime in with some more estimates though.

With the low mileage, this is probably pretty accurate.

Well, I just bought it. It is an SE if that makes a difference. Stupid question here, the interior is either leather or vinyl. Was leather an option?

Yes, leather was an option.

I paid 3,550 for my 95 with 130k miles, and a whole bunch of little annoyances like blown shocks, 1 working power window, leaky waterpump and scratches on the bumper. And it's not an SE either. If you paid less then that, I will hate you!

Thing is at least worth that 7000 bucks.

I paid $5,000 for it. It seems to be pretty well equiped. I think that is a good price considering the miles and condition.

Wow, thats still a good price.

I know of a 95 SE around here for only 200 bucks... Running and evreything. Only thing wrong with it is it has no headlights, and the radiator support and front brace is bent from hitting a curb or something. Hmmm, it's even the same exact color as mine. Do you guys think that it's a good deal...

...nah it's overpriced...

but on a serious note, no stock '95 is worth 10k dollars. Hell, I have not seen rx-7 turbos w/1000 original miles even go that high.

Thanks for the help all. I figure for $5000 and it's just like a new car. I can't get hurt at that price.
