Athlon XP 2800GeForce 4200512 PC2700 Ram120 GB HD21 inch moniterAnd a case that cost way too much considereing its in my closet so it can make a minimal amount of noise...

I was going to spend more on this comp, get new graphics card, dvd burner, more ram...etc. But ever since I got my car, it just seems so unimportant now.

Interesting sound card selection. How did you come about buying that one rico5? I read a few reviews on it, seems like good bang for the buck. Dell 8300 2.8 P4 HT 800FSB768 MB RAMRadeon 9800 Pro120 GB SATA HDDVD-ROMCD-RW driveAlso have a Gateway but I don't know what is in it. I got it from my brother. The Dell kicks butt though. Getting a gigabit network card soon.

From what I hear, those Turtle Beach cards are way more cost effective when compared to SoundBlaster. My Audigy is garbage. Sound breaks up all the time for seemingly no reason. If you are in the market, seriously consider something other than creative labs.

Found it on EDonkey a while back. I also have a Sony Trinitron 21" monitor, Logitech wireless mouse and key board and Logitech 5.1 dolby speakers. Everyday I realize how much my RAM and mobo are holding me back...:(

I was looking at that board. Has some killer specs.

I really want to get something that will be nice and versatile for more than a year or two. I can EASILY clock this CPU to over 3gHZ on air (I know 3 guys who have) or I could go water and kick it over 4gHZ (seen it done online) and my graphics card is getting its butt kicked as I have to run a jumper from my floppy cuz I can't change voltage on my AGP slot :( The MAXIII is so sick. i875 chipset, ICH5R northbridge, PAT, SATA, plus it looks killer;)

it runs pretty nice :)next thing to do is overclock the CPU to 400mHz FSB so I can up my RAM to 400 mHz and still run 1:1 bus ratio...

Scary scary stuff there...seriously though, how can you sleep with that thing at night? It'd keep me awake and probably scare the hell out of me if I woke up from a bad dream.

Ive got a 3 year old $1000 Sams Club HP and a new $500 Wal-Mart HP.

OT: can any one find me a AC Adapter for a Nec UltraLite SX/20 laptop? I got this thing off ebay along time ago and only got to use it once then the ac adapeter went out.

Wow, I have a desk with a computer drawer and door just so I have no light in my room. I like my room, it's kind of like where dreams go to die. :)
