I've just had my 01 tuned up and had 2 oxygen sensors replaced. The car runs smoother and has more power but after she warms up she wants to stall when idling. Revs drop from 800 to below 500 and then stalls out.My car is an automatic and it is acting funny. Sometimes when coming to a complete stop the car downshifts hard. The transmission has always been serviced and shifts up smoothly.Any ideas out there?

was there any cleaning of the throttle body during the tune up? did you clean the MAF? one of these two things may trigger the rough idle and stalling. if you cleaned the TB out, maybe you did not clear out all of the cleaner. in taking that stuff of to clean it, maybe you got some trash in the MAF and it needs to be cleaned with some MAF sensor cleaner.

beyond that, check the IACV, of which you can adjust the idle RPM's. not sure what else to tell you to look for in this situation. as far as the transmission is concerned, double check the fluid. if all is well, look into some AT additive.
