LOL, 1k! I remember those days. Wait until you get a family and a house! Then when it rains, it will pour. How about 2k to recarpet, 3k for a new furnace, 4k for a new roof, 4k for new siding, 5k for new windows.Carl H wrote:good call on that one.....i refused to spend more than my bank account can handle, i keep a 1k buffer in it at all times, if anything i think of buying would breach that i hold off untill i can afford it.
Well that was depressing! I'll play with my car as much as possible until all that nightmare begins! haha, j/kWulfgang wrote:LOL, 1k! I remember those days. Wait until you get a family and a house! Or wait.... 10k to have a kid because a 50 cent condom didn't work (still 2k after insurance pays out 80%). Or maybe a c-section is needed.... 20k (4k after insurance pays).
Even if get 1k back from the feds, I'll still owe 3k to the locals for property tax.
Ok, this is a bit off-topic. Tax season sucks, but I wouldn't have a 240 if there weren't roads to drive it on, a safe country to live in, etc......
