Well my 240sx's engine seized because no motor oil. Yeah I'm pretty stupid. But anyway the police officer told me the engine seized and it's time to go car shopping.

Well anyways, I was wondering what happens exactly when the "engine seizes"? Can't I just rebuild the engine replacing parts that need to be replaced?

If I get a whole new engine, that will work right?

Thank you.

An engine seize is typically when, because of lack of oil lubrication, the pistons will basically weld themselves (Friction=Heat) to the Cylinder walls. So it makes the engine practically useless and not rebuildable. Thats a bummer about your situation, but you should look into just getting a new engine. You can find them for pretty cheap (stock) or you can swap in an SR20DET or CA18DET or other engines from Japan. Never let a 240sx go to waste!!!
