I know, I should do a search, but there are FAR too many references about Jesda's pants...

So could someone please explain how the pants thing originated?

Are they special?

Does he only have one pair that he wears constantly?

What is it..... seriously?

As they say..."If you have to ask...you'll never know."

It's just one of those running jokes, started with a simple comment a while back and for some odd reason caught on.

LOL!

The pants thing started when I began hijacking people's polls, back when "Add new choice" was available by default.

The mansack is a camera bag. Canon Powershot A40 for sale. $80!

IIRC, the first reference was when SickImports joined and every thread he started was a poll. Jesda would add something about his pants ... and of course they would get the most votes. But the story goes on from there, Jesda also uses tons of left over Sears/Penneys gift cards (some of which he gets from Freecycler) and gets his pants.

Imagine some shady looking guy with a manbag, sock/sandals and 20 gift cards buying 1 pr of pants.

There the story has been told ... maybe it should be a sticky?

What's the fuss? Hmm, I think it's more like a mild infatuation. It's an odd thing really.

Thankyou Rex.

I understand completely...

Well, I understand the explaination completely...

But the whole visual of mansack, sandals/socks combo, with 20 vouchers to get 1 pair of pants..... priceless..... and disturbing in a way...

Should start a telethon....

Please donate a pair of pants to the Pants 4 Jesda foundation....

Many of these suburban creatures are wandering around with nothing more than a mansack to their name.... please help to cover their legs.. donate a pair of pants to help them integrate back into society....

I've been hanging 'round for a while, but never asked. I did always wonder why his pants were an option...

Thanks for having the balls to ask, being so new and all!

well, i have seen a few posts in reference to the pants, but the curiosity peaked when i saw photos of jesda, and arrows pointing out the pants (and mansack) in every shot....

I couldn't stop myself from asking......

must.....unravel......mystery of......pants....AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

PS. Are they all beige? Or does the colour range extend to cream, mocha, and off white?

I would start a poll, but i think far too many polls have involved Jesda's pants already....
