I was wondering what this motor might be worth? I have a complete motor, transmission, harness, ecu, and a box with various parts including MAF's, ptu, bov's and i/c. The compression was really good when I bought it and it hasn't been fired up in at east 3 years.

it depends on the buyer. there is no set price. most of the time prices fluctuate with supply and demand. me personally, i wouldnt pay very much for a motor that i couldnt see running.

I got mine on eBay for $1100, but it didn't come with MAF sensor, ignitor, i/c, and the wire harness was chopped and had to be replaced. Most of these go for around $2000-2500 on ebay depending on the condition of the engine, wires, etc. as well as mileage and whatnot.

Note: If you buy on ebay, make SURE you FULLY read every word of the listing, make sure you are getting everything you need, make sure the seller tested the engine, and make sure it has some kind of guarantee! DO NOT buy one without a minimum 30 day guarantee! If you have the money, get a full swap kit at like heavythrottle.com (about $4500, but includes EVERYTHING you need in MINT condition)

I got mine from a local importer where I watched them do the compression test. It's pretty easy to do the compression test. The motor is in a car and 12v to the starter gets it turning.

its the complete motor ready to be started up..i'd say honestly i'd probably only pay 1200 for it due to the fact that it hasnt been started up in 3years..no telling what has gone bad. maybe 1500 with all that extra stuff (extra bov's and maf's and I/C) ..its just too scary to think that you are dropping a lot of dollar on buying an engine that has been sitting that long and you dont know how its going to do
