if you want a game like Gran Turismo 3 then NFSU is not the game your looking for..... they are two completely different style of racing games, although NFSU is fun the riceyness gets to me after a while

Im playing MC2 right now. Pretty lame after awhile, no variety, no tunability. You just race in checkpoint races and win the other peoples "tricked out" cars. Different style but still gay. BTW, since Rockstar San Diego or whoever couldn't get liscenses for the cars, your stuck with look alikes with lame names, i.e., the civic in the game if called the citi, stuff like that. One of the cars looks to have a DC2 back end and an S15 front. Gay.

I've been playing the hell out of PGR2. It's a nice mix of sim and "arcade" action, leaning a bit towards the arcade side of things. I haven't played Need for Speed: Underground, but I've heard that PGR2 is a bit more realistic as far as the vehicle physics goes.

There's a decent mix of vehicles in PGR2 (all licensed) and some tracks (the only real track they have is Nürburgring, and I don't know if that's really accurate at all). There's no real customization, and the vehicles tend to slide around a bit more easily than I'd like but it's a good game.

The game really shines when you've got Xbox Live. I've been having a blast playing online. I got the Ferrari Enzo up to 220mph at the Ring...pretty cool. :D

Actually, the Controller S that ships with all new Xbox(es) is just the right size for me. The original controller was huge, but the new one fits me perfectly. Perhaps I've got larger than average hands, which would make sense since I've got...errrr...nevermind. :D

If I had to make the decision again, I'd still buy an Xbox. While the PS2 has a larger library of games, it just doesn't have the technology to compete with the Xbox. No real 5.1 surround sound, it doesn't come with a harddrive, and the graphics just don't measure up.

If there were some Sony exclusive games that I *had* to have, I would have bought a PS2, but there really weren't any that appealed to me.

I'll wait to see how the next gen Playstation measures up to the next gen Xbox and make my decision all over again. Maybe I'll buy a PS3 instead of an Xbox2 (or whatever they're called) next time.

Project Gotham rules. I haven't played the second one yet.The new playstation (PSX) is supposed to have a hard drive and a DVD burner.I like the big Xbox controllers. I wish I could still find them in the stores. I learned to play Halo with the big controller and now I hate using the small one.

Sega GT Online is coming out within the next few months and should be priced very low. I'd pass on the original Sega GT and just wait for the new one. It's more of an upgrade than a totally new game, but it does have some new cars.

I believe Rallisport Challenge 2 is coming soon too, and it will be Xbox Live-ready. You can pick up the first Rallisport Challenge game for $20 since it's a "Platinum Hit". It's a fun game if you're in to rally.

Those two and PGR 2 would be my picks.

My original Xbox crapped out within a year. I'd get an extended warranty on Xbox AND PS2. Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that they both go belly up more than the companies would like to admit.

xbox has never failed me. PG2 is a very fun game especially if u have live. id wait for sega gt online to come out (which should had been earlier this week or later this month) sega gt online does have a S13 and S15 i believe. i think the S13 is a silvia. if you want a shooter, all my friends like rainbow six 3 but i like the ghost recon games a little better. also, i think we should put our gamer tags up here for xbox live so we can play each other.mine: Sloth37A
