I just hooked my boost gauge up and am just wondering what the vacuum reading should be at idle. Im around 20-24 in HG. at idle and about 10-15 in. while cruising. It just seems to be a little high.

BTW, i am boosting 8lbs on the stock T25.

that sounds about right to me.

I'm usually at 18 - 20 at idle.

there's nothing wrong with 'high' (numerically) vacuum, really.

those #'s are fine. I usually idle cold at well moer than 500mm/Hg, and warmed up just a bit over 500mm/Hg. So, I idle normally around 20-22in/Hg or more.

Alright, cool guys. I had actually just installed my MBC. Before it, the boost gauge would never ever fall below 5 in HG, and now it goes all the way to 24 in HG at idle. I just couldnt figure out why the readings would change like that. Im probably going to try and re-rout my vacuum line for the boost gauge, have it come from a blocked off port on the throttle body, instead of from right infront of the MBC (which is infront of the wastegate). That might give me a more accurate reading, even though the vacuum line will be longer.

Mine is 20 at cold idle, and 22 at warm idle
