What's a decent price for a 91-94 240sx? Could I find one for about 3000-3500? Do they all come with sunroofs? Any replies would be appreciated, thanks!

That would be an ok price. The price also depends highly upon the condition of the vehicle and your location since prices cary from location to location. The 1994 was a convertable only year. No not all of the 240sx's came with sunroofs. Though be sure to check the smell of the car on ones that have them, they sometimes leak and can get that old dew/mold smell. $5000 would be the price of a 240SX in excellent to pristine condition. Expect to pay at least 3000 for a good condition car.

This reasonable?

Man I was thinking of buying another civic, then I saw how common civics were nowadays, and how annoying it is to see so many of them. So anybody interested in buying a 93 civic coupe with a b16a motor,type-r transmisson,LSD, and more goodies?

I want a 240sx now!

That's... alot of mile. If you buy it, talk him down to 3,000 first, showing him that that's what they go for.

OK, so my link didn't work. go to http://www.kbb.com for the kelly blue book value. Remember, nobody selling a car gets the value, they only get a little bit less.

Actually blue book value is dependant upon depreciation, it has nothing to do with true market value. Look at 94 Supra TTs, they book out at like 14,000 dollars, hehe, where you gonna find a 94 Supra TT for 14k, not gonna happen.

As far as that 240 having too many miles for that price, I would tend too agree except look at its options. It comes with every option available except an auto ( thank god ) including ABS, HICAS, and LSD. He won't go down on that price, and really, he can get 4-5k, but ONLY out of that car and ONLY to an enthusiast who's looking for HICAS. It has been done.

As far as a reasonable price, I wouldn't pay more than like 2500-2800 for a really good condition 91, personally I spent a few months looking for a 240 for under 1800 to my door and finally found it, it just depends on how long you have to wait, what options you want and what your budget is.

oh, also, I'm not saying don't talk him down, its always good to negotiate, however if he has any idea of what he has he'll probably turn you down, of course, its always worth a try. I talked my guy down from 1,000 to 850 even though I would have paid 1,000 and everyone says I'm an ******* for it. Oh well. : ) It was worth that 150 bucks. : )

HAHAHA! That's pretty funny.

I'm saying though, you may be able to use kbb to your advantage by showing him that. It DOES have great options, ***but... well... the miles are pretty high... there are alot of problems with a high milage engine...*** (you can use that line if you'd like)

You think I could talk him down to below 3 grand? I would love to get this car for 3 grand, or less...Okay lets say I don't take this car, what if I buy a much more cheaper 240sx, like a 89-90 or something, could I realistically find one in the range of 1000-2000, leaving me room to do motor swap, or god forbid, a sil-eighty conversion..hehe. Really once I saw a sil-eighty in person, it makes an Integra Type-R with a JDM front end look boring. It's beautiful. Once I drove a 240, it feels so much more stiffer, and goes where you point it. It feels very different than driving a modded civic, where you can feel the flex, and doesn't feel responsive like the 240. And I'm comparing my modded civic, to a stock 240. Even the fastbacks feel stiff to me, and you guys say this car isn't as stiff! Seriously, I'm sold on getting one, thanks so far for the replies, I just hope the nissan camp doesn't get as gay as the honda guys.
