Hi, all.

There have been a number of posts here (from Dennis and others) that it is important to replace all the rubber stuff under the car after many years of use.

I am going to be replacing shocks soon and do plan to do the boots and replace upper links. However, what other rubber should be replaced? Does anyone have a comprehensive list? What about tension rod? What about sway bar bushings? Etc.?

I would greatly appreciate knowing what to get from Joe at Scottsdale!

Another dumb question: from my read of the diagrams at Infinitipartsusa.com, it looks like only the front has "upper links". Is this accurate? Is there some other "upper" or "lower" links that needs to be replaced in the rear?

Replace tension rods bushings if they're leaking. I think normal replacement interval is around 60K???

No links to replace in rear suspension, just dust boots for shocks which include a rubber bumper at the top. Not sure if there is anything else worth replacing in the rear.

The whole tension rod or just the bushings? I am under the impression that the rod and bushing are one piece. Am I wrong about that?

1. Upper links (fronts only, right?)2. Front Tension rods (and/or bushings).3. Dust boots (all four shocks).

when I am replacing my shocks. Other work includes rotors and pads too, but that is another story.

Sway bar frame and end link bushings would be good too and easy to replace.

Tension rods have been discussed in about 4-5 threads in last 2 days. All the info you'd ever need!! Check online mechanic forum too.
