Ask about the drilled and plated Stillen Brembo OEM replacement. Joe sometimes have a killer deal, and thye have maintained OEM performance much greater time than OEM rotors.

If noise and vibration OR LONGEVITY is any concern the last thing anyone would want is a drilled or slotted rotor!

Caug buddy! take it easy on the brakes! Just Kidding.

Although the brakes are unsatisfactory for this car if you drive it like you stole it, I have found that if I keep them cleaned and surfaced often I do not get that shimmy.

There is someone that used to frequent here that threw on slotted brembos.

I put on disc & pads from Burtman Industries and love them. As smooth and quite as OEM. They also look a lot better.

I have to say I went the cheapest I could find-drilled and slotted on e-bay. I did a slightly upgraded pad and got it done pretty cheap doing it myself. I have to say the breaks work great, but they felt really weird for the first day or so... Maybe there is a breakin period for them. So far I am happy...did the same with my legend and have over 15k since with no problems either.

I had never changed the rear pads in my car until last weekend when i heard a horrible grinding noise when i braked. i was a lil confused at first because i didn't hear the brake sensors screech. I took the brake pads off and to my surprise there was 1/10 of an inch left on one side and the back side was grinding on metal already. The sensors broke off. i decided to go with stock rotors and pads since they don't leave any brake dust. OEM is the way to go.

You will get brake dust from OEM or aftermarket brake components. It is normal and nothing you can do to eliminate it, just spray them down with a hose every once in a while to keep it from building up on the wheels, which could damage the finish.

You can also wax your wheels after you clean them. Then the brake pad dust does not stick - washes off with a hose!

i will probably get stock rotors with hawks pads combo.i just affraid of warping the rotors by slowing down from 120 to 60. that did it to me.since then it just getting worse and worse. i have 57k on it, bought it with 38K. i dont know if other dude did any brake sevice at all.

I think stock rotors could be the strogest, but of course frozen rotors too.
