right now i have the Motegi FF7s in mind, either 17s for 480, or 18s for 545. Which would be better for my car. Its a 95 240sx SE.

I would avoid both. I just checked the available sizes for this wheel, and neither option comes in sizes or offsets that will look good on an s14. You're going to want something with a lower offset and/or larger width.

What do you mean by "better for my car?"

I might recommend any wheel that fits these specs:18x9+15 or18x9.5+15

Fitment is key. Nobody wants sunken wheels or unsightly wheel gap...

IMO, anything lower than +20. I'd try to stick with +15 on 9.5 inch wheels. Lower offsets than that on wheels that wide usually need fender mods beyond a simple roll... GL.

good fitment w/ no fender mods and no excessive camber would be IMO:Front- 9 in. +20 or 9.5 in. +25Rear- 9 in. +15 or 9.5 in. +15

depending on how low you go of course.
