what reprecussions does this have....

picked up a pair of adjustable lowering springs (coil sleeves) i wanted to install these until i get coilovers in a few months just to see what it would look like with a lowered car. i've heard you need new struts. and other say its fine. others say old struts blow. whats the truth or is there? and i read about car hopping with older struts. that would be rather embarrasing.

the stock struts are designed for the stock springs if you go and use lowering springs and with stock ones they might blow, there old anyways, you may not like the ride. so while your down there why not change to coil overs. ;D

sileighty has it on the head man..dont f-your ride up with wanabe coilovers..just wait till ya can save for em...not only may you damage your ride..but your friends are gona laugh silly at your choice in upgrades..save the bread..if ya need sumpin for now till ya can save..get a energy bushing set..that will stiffin ya up a li8ttle and worth the coin..heed sileightys advice..shes on the nail man, and leet!
