I was told by the driveshaft shop that the biggest diameter driveshaft I could get with the stock 1992 240sx rear end is 2 3/4 in. Is there an aftermarket rearend flange or a stock one off a different car that will fit and is a bigger flange?

if your getting a driveshaft made of steel, theres no reason to get a larger diameter. youll just increase the rotational inertia of the shaft.

unless your getting the shaft made from aluminum, theres no need to get it any wider.

Yeah, I showed them the skyline rear flange and told them that it fit my car and that I needed one that could match it so they found one.
