what rb26 do i have

hi ... i have a rb26dett and i would like to know what year it is or rater what model (r32 or r33) cause i need to know for my downpipe

-my block is gray and not black so i know it`s not a r34.

-my crank collar is not short but i cant say if it is stock or it as being change by a gyu in japan.

-my power steering pump is rater small compare to the r32 (hicas) still dont know if someone change it before i got the motor .like on that website-->

Give us a picture of your engine eith the wiring harness on it. Also, a "closer" shot of the harness near the oil cap is preferred.

well there are two thing on an r33 rb26 that you can see thats different from the r32.first the r33 power steering pump only has one psi line coming off of it and the r32 has two psi lines coming off of it for the hicas.and the r33 has one grey plug by the fuel psi regulator by the front of the fuel rail and the r32 does not.

if thats the original power steering pump off your rb26 and your stock crank has a good crank collar then you more then likely have an r33.

looks like r33, but why are you so concerned about 32 vs. 33?

More than likely, your engine is an R33 engine. If you look at that picture you took of the wiring harness, look to the left of the injector wiring loom. You will see a single gray plug coming out of the harness. That is prominent in R33 GTRs.....
