What ratio fmu for my ka24et?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Hey, I'm curious. I want to do a ka24et setup on 1 of my cars and am not sure which fmu I need. Actualy, theres a few things I'm not quite certain about... I'd like to not have to mess with new injectors and such, but if need be i could snatch the 370cc side feeds off my sr20 and possibly using that fuel rail?? At any rate, i only plan to use the t25 off my sr20 on there, some 2.25 piping, npr intercooler, and a log manifold i put togethor. Just want to get the car running turbo, not worried about upgrades for it yet.

i would only use a 4:1 fmu for lower boost with a t25, since it doesnt flow too much.

Nope... won't fit a SOHC

is it bad to run an 8:1 with low boost, or wouldnt it be more safe?

Safe. Yes. But it might be too much fuel. It mainly depends on the size of the turbo, not the PSI you are running, since the FMU responds to PSI. Of course, too much PSI with too much ratio mean excentric fuel rail pressures.

don't get a T25 its barely enough for a 2.0 liter SR, not alone a 2.4...you will hate this setup...and end up selling that turbo and getting something bigger, wasting money in the process.

the rule of thumb is not to go over 90psi in the fuel system, so 8:1 and 6:1, I personally will go with 6:1

Well, as the t25 is free coming off my sr20 i feels its the best bet. I only want to make the ka24e car run so I can use it as a daily driver. I dont intend to put more than 5psi or so on it now, just to check how it feels and such
